Role in INQUIRE:
Performing in vitro cell-based toxicity assessment of dust samples.
Research focus: In addition to working on the INQUIRE project, my research focusses on understanding the drivers behind beneficial or detrimental effects arising from aryl hydrocarbon receptor activation in the gut using 3D colon organoids in vitro.
What got me interested in research in the first place: My interest in research stems from a fascination with the natural world and a strong drive to understand how our habits and consumptions can influence our health and wellbeing.
My favourite thing about being a researcher: My favourite thing about being a researcher is helping to drive our knowledge of human systems and working with new and exciting methods and technologies to explore the unknown.
Hobbies: Cooking, fishing, snorkeling.
