Sampling, data collection and biomonitoring strategies
This WP cover all field work to support WPs 2-6.
Objectives:
- To validate a non-invasive method for IAQ and biomonitoring assessments in large-scale surveys.
- To implement the sampling strategy in over 200 European households with children < 5 yrs old.
- To link levels of key IAQ determinants to their sources, behavioural drivers and temporal variability. To evaluate effectiveness of intervention strategies to improve IAQ.
Deliverables:
- D1.1: Study initiation package (including clinical study registration, approved study protocol, and ethics approvals by local ethical committees at sites).
- D1.2: Midterm recruitment report.
- D1.3: Residential IAQ profiling, sources and drivers of indoor contaminants across Europe.
