WP4

WP4 will exploit data from WP1-3 to determine and assess strategies for pollution reduction. Findings of this WP will feed into WP5 for the development of regulatory strategies.

Objectives:

• To implement and evaluate four sets of strategies to reduce the numbers and levels of hazardous substances in residential indoors through
  1. Technological solutions,
  2. Changes in consumer products,
  3. Building characteristics and materials, and iv) behavioural changes.
• To assess participant experience and empower citizens to reduce exposure at home.
• To provide guidelines to policy makers and citizens for improving IAQ at home

Deliverables:

• D4.1 Results of emission tests of “common”/”low emission” pairs of consumer products and building materials.
• D4.2 Prediction of IAQ improvement in selected homes from the in silico model tool.
• D4.3 Report on effectiveness of the IAQ improving
